Protx changes to Sage Pay

Over the past two years, Online Payment Provider Protx has doubled in size, both in terms of its customer base and its people. In 2008, Protx invested heavily in data security and recovery systems to ensure a robust and reliable service, and more recently taken had taken its first steps towards being able to offer better ways to manage business finances by integrating its mail order and telephone facilities with Sage 50, Sage 200 and Instant Accounts packages.

Protx have continually been working to enhance its payment solutions, and are now moving towards more sophisticated integrations with Sage to enable customers to reconcile bank accounts or link to their payroll software via its payment platform. With this in mind, and because Protx want all of its customers to benefit from working with one of the UK's most trusted business brands, they have decided to take their rightful place within the Sage family and change its name to Sage Pay.

After the switch on 21 April 2009, Protx's services will be as reliable as ever, but you will notice some improvements, including:

  • Premium fraud screening packages
  • Merchant services offering
  • Outsourced payment solutions to help you become PCI DSS compliant
  • 24/7 support is a particular milestone for Protx as a business. From 21 April, no matter what time of the day or night, their advisors will be on-hand and ready to help.
